This chapter presents some preliminary results concerning the contribution of the eBMS to the realization of an on-line community within the TIM Fellowship Programme. TIM Fellowship Programme (TFP) started in January 2000. The project aims to build a strong synergy between TIM employees and the academia and is based on an activities plan that has the following main objectives: a) To valorize TIM employees, that attend university (hereafter internal students); b) To identify young talents among the academic students (hereafter external students); c) To stimulate and evaluate new capabilities and business ideas in the emerging fields of Net Economy, Mobile Business and ICT, enhancing flows of knowledge and innovation between TIM and the academic world; d) To create new business opportunities, involving national and international advanced educational centers, focused on Mobile Business.
