In this paper we aim to illustrate the architectural model of an internet-based technological platform (the Knowledge Hub - KH) enabling organisational knowledge creation process. The theory of knowledge creation is anchored to the critical assumption that human knowledge is created and enhanced through effective interactions between tacit knoweldge and explicit knowledge, generating the SECI process. This process is boosted by the application of knowledge management systems that allow to manage strategically corporate knowledge, sustaining the creation of physical and virtual spaces where knowledge conversion occurs. These spaces are mapped into a set of services of our technological platform. Abstract

The platform, conceived as a general purpose platform and designed according to the emerging Semantic Web technologies, can help the growth and the sustainment of organizational knowledge in order to facilitate its access, sharing and reuse by members of the organizations for solving their individual or collective tasks.
