The proposed work describes the work done in the industry research project based mainly in the implementation of technologies enabling Internet of Things - IoT -, Industry 4.0, and Decision Support System (DSS) facilities for a Small and medium-sized enterprise (SME). The initial part of the paper discusses some important aspect about data processing by showing generic graphical user interfaces (GUIs) suitable for data processing and for DSS implementing data mining algorithms. In the second part is designed an architecture able to acquire sensor data, improving technological and scientific innovations. Finally, is designed and developed a prototype sensors agent system interconnected with a neural network data cluster, proving the DSS functionality of the whole designed architecture
