The aim of this systematic review is to determine the effectiveness of telerehabilitation in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders compared with face-to-face physiotherapy and where it is possible to report cost-benefit analysis data. This project is a systematic review of RCTs, we used the PubMed, EMBASE, CINHAL databases as sources from 2010 to 30 April 2020. We followed the PICO model (Patien-Intervention-Comparison-Outcome) to build the research question and strategy: -P: Adult patients, 18 years of age and older, diagnosed with Musculoskeletal disorder not undergoing surgery, -I: treated with Telerehabilitation (in all its variants found in the letter) -C: physical therapy in presence (performed in any modality) -O: Pain, function, quality of life, patient satisfaction, treatment costs, and any other Musculoskeletal disorder's related outcomes evaluated in the RCTs reviewed were examined. Two reviewers applying eligibility criteria and selecting studies for inclusion in the systematic review, using an independent data extraction form builded with Microsoft Excel 2007. We used the RoB2 risk of bias tool to assess studies quality. We planned to carry on a descriptive analysis of the outcome measures extracted in the different RCTs, such as pain, physical function, disability and cost analysis data.
