This study aims to examine the practice of organizational power and its impact on employee perceptions in public organizations and to observe any differences that exist between different social groups or sociodemographic conditions. Leveraging the forms of organizational power pinpointed by French and Raven (1959), a multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used on a sample of public-sector employees in Italy to provide further practical and theoretical insights into the sensitivity of both genders and additional sociodemographic conditions (age, work experience, and contract type) that may affect different types of power (personal and positional).

Abstract
This study aims to examine the practice of organizational power and its impact on employee perceptions in public organizations and to observe any differences that exist between different social groups or sociodemographic conditions. Leveraging the forms of organizational power pinpointed by French and Raven (1959), a multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used on a sample of public-sector employees in Italy to provide further practical and theoretical insights into the sensitivity of both genders and additional sociodemographic conditions (age, work experience, and contract type) that may affect different types of power (personal and positional).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
