The fundamental role that energy, and raw materials play in the economy of European countries

This work is part of a research project which aims to analyze the price of energy commodities and the relationship, that they have on the economic growth of European countries. A leading issue in the economic history of Europe is the scarcity of raw materials, and particularly of primary energy sources, and how it has affected its modern economic growth. The analysis is drawn from individual tabulated data for each European Country. This paper therefore aims to highlight the fundamental role that energy, and raw materials play in the economy throughout the Euro-zone and the influence that it has on both economic growth and choice.

Questo lavoro è parte di un progetto di ricerca che mira ad analizzare il prezzo delle materie prime energetiche e il rapporto, che hanno per la crescita economica dei paesi europei. LA questione della storia economica dell'Europa è la scarsità di materie prime, e in particolare delle fonti di energia primaria, e come ha influenzato la crescita economica moderna. L'analisi è elaborato da singoli dati tabulati per ogni paese europeo. Il presente documento ha lo scopo di evidenziare il ruolo fondamentale che l'energia, e materie prime in tutta l'economia della zona Euro e l'influenza che essa ha sia sulla crescita economica e di scelta.
